A few years ago I came across some free colouring pages that helped kids learn to identify feelings. I loved how there were no “right” or “wrong” answers for the Feeleez characters, but just an open ended opportunity for children to explore the topic of feelings.
Identifying feelings is an important step for developing empathy. Today I’m excited to share some more resources from Feeleez that are a lot of fun for children, whether at home or at school.
The Feeleez Game is a beautifully made set of 25 matching pairs of cards that come in a sturdy tin. The quality and durability of the cards is excellent, making the game great to play with toddlers or full classes of kids.
Inside the tin there are also nine “ideas for play” which are suitable for many ages and temperaments of children.
The cards can also be used for role play, creative writing prompts, discussion after arguments, and more. Definitely a fantastic resource for parents, teachers, counsellors or anyone who works with kids!
The Feeleez Poster is another wonderful resource to have at home or in a classroom. Visit this page to learn about the benefits.
Both my sons (ages 3 and 6) have enjoyed playing the game and the poster has been a useful discussion starter in several instances! I love the bright colours of the Feeleez characters, don’t you?

That looks like an awesome game!
I was just talking to a friend yesterday and we were saying how we wished kids were taught more about compassion and understanding other’s feelings.
