The purpose of my website is to help families build character. I am passionate about spending a few moments a day focused on refining our character traits – which includes connecting and serving others, as well – and I share activities, ideas, and resources for this aim. You can read more about my website here.
I also enjoy using various social media platforms to share my latest posts and news, as well as other resources, quotes, and ideas that I find from other online resources. I share slightly different things on each social media option as described below. I hope this little “guide” will make it easier for you to choose how you would like to stay in touch with me and my blog.
Posts by Email
If you want to receive all my new posts into your inbox, you can sign up here. Simply select “Posts by Email” and enter your email address. This is the only sure way to get word of all of my posts. I generally post between two and four times a week.
Monthly Newsletter
If you would like to get a review of what I post on the blog each month, plus some extra deals and links to resources I love, sign up for my Monthly Newsletter. Just like above, be sure to check “Monthly Newsletter” when you sign up here. This is a great way to stay updated without receiving more than one email a month.
Oh yes, sometimes I also include special details – like discounts to my new resources and sometimes coupons from companies I love.
I like to share my new posts, background stories and news, and favorite posts/articles from other bloggers a few times a day on my Facebook page. But, although I enjoy using Facebook myself, this is not a sure way to get news from my blog. Facebook is constantly changing the way readers see the posts by pages, and so I recommend signing up for one of the emails above if you want to receive word of new posts and resources, etc.
I like to use Pinterest boards to organize various types of character building activities. I also have a character board especially for moms, another for building connected families, plus quite a few other useful boards (ie collections of activities, homeschool preschool, practical tips I want to try, etc). My first board is one that is completely dedicated to my blog – so you can find all my posts and resources there. You can find me on Pinterest here.
I enjoy sharing a few photos of what our family is up to on Instagram. I love Instagram… it feels so friendly and supportive… and I love seeing what my friends are busy with. My Instagram feed is more about what my family is up to, versus what is on my blog. You can find me on Instagram here.
Google +
I am really enjoying Google + as it is a great place to chat about various subjects within like-minded communities. You can find me here.
I would also love you to join my community Character Building for Families which you can read about here. I think this is a fantastic way to network and share ideas, and I love how discussions and posts are easy to search under the categories!
I’m still learning about Twitter and am looking forward to using it more for networking this year. I’m going to be joining in a few twitter chats this year also. You can find me here.
Bloglovin’
I follow all my favorite blogs on Bloglovin’ because it is a simple way to keep in touch with the latest posts all in one place. You can simply sign up for a daily email to get a list of every post published that day by your favorite blogs. It’s easy to add blogs and I love having all the new posts in one place. You can add me on Bloglovin’ by clicking here. You can also check out which blogs I enjoy following by checking out my personal list here.
So there you have it! Feel free to follow me on any of the options described above. I would love to stay in touch and hope you will enjoy the new posts and resources I share 🙂
